Arty Furtado
is a multidisciplinary music industry professional specializing in event curation, experiential production, talent management, and brand development. Born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, to a Cape Verdean-Bissau Guinean mother and a Russian father, he brings a global perspective to his work.
Arty’s music journey began early—releasing his first music video at 13 and gaining national media attention. He has since toured internationally as an artist and DJ, performing across four continents. His firsthand experience in the industry allows him to connect with artists on a deeper level, fostering authentic collaborations and artist-friendly spaces.
After moving to New York at 20, Arty quickly rose to General Manager at a leading concert agency, overseeing the production of live events for artists such as Jorja Smith, Tems, Jack Harlow, and Playboi Carti, alongside experiential activations for brands like Spotify and Heineken. Building on this experience, he founded Furtado Global, spearheading projects for Google and YouTube while curating experiences for Bree Runway, Maeta, June Freedom, and others.
Arty is also the visionary behind Club 1BD, a viral party brand with a dedicated following. His ability to spot emerging talent early has been a hallmark of his career—most notably discovering Doechii and organizing her first-ever rap performance, which led to her signing with TDE.
With a deep understanding of cultural trends and an instinct for innovation, Arty continues to shape the future of music, events, and entertainment on a global scale.
